Please will you collect all your used stamps and place them in a box in the Church porch?

Volunteer drivers needed:

Burghfield and Mortimer Handybus urgently needs volunteer drivers for their passenger minibus so that we may continue providing a vital transport service for our area. Anyone interested please contact Philip Church (01189 833694).

Leonard Room:

Please remember to make all bookings through Jenny Smith so that it can be recorded on the Parish Planner and the heat can be turned on.

Volunteers needed:

In the event of snow and ice we need volunteers to make footpaths and access safe. Bright yellow wheelie bins containing grit will be outside the church. There will also be a snow shovel and stiff broom available. Anyone prepared to do this, please contact the Parish Office.

Charity for this year:

We need to decide on the charity for this year - this will be announced at the AGM on the 4th March. Please write the name of your suggested charity on a slip of paper and place it in the Suggestion Box in the porch by 19.02.12.

26.02.12:

St. Oswald's Feast Day - shared lunch after Mass.

04.03.12:

AGM - four committee members will be standing down after serving for three years and we shall need to elect new members. The committee would like to receive any nominations for new members.

04.03.12:

Information evening about the Parish Pilgrimage in the Dorman Room Pangbourne at 20.00 - Fr. Paul Madison will be there.
There is still time to book a place. The closing date for applications has been extended because of the Christmas period. We still have itineraries and booking forms at the Parish Office, or these may be downloaded here.
