Parish Jubilee Pilgrimage

All are invited to join our Parish Jubilee Pilgrimage on Saturday 6th September.

2025 is a Jubilee Year in the Church, with the theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’. As part of this Holy Year, you are invited to join our parish pilgrimage to the historic Shrine of Our Lady of Caversham on Saturday 6 September. A place of prayer and Marian devotion since the 12th century, the shrine continues to offer peace, reflection, and renewal.

The timings are as follows:

10:00 am: Gather at St Bernadette's, Pangbourne

10:15 am: Depart Pangbourne (Those unable to do the walk are welcome to join us in Caversham. Plenty of parking available.)

12:30 pm: Arrive at Our Lady & St Anne’s Church, Caversham

12:45 pm: Lunch (bring your own)

1:30 pm: Talk on the history of the Shrine

2:00 pm: Holy Mass

2:45 pm: Depart Caversham (walk or train)
